My Collegiate Journey (Blog 7 ENT 670)
How’s the reading going?
I read while I’m at the gym now. Sometimes I feel like I’m skimming because it just gets really repetitive and I think it’s still boring. Our required reading (The Four Steps to the Epiphany), could be repetitive material to ensure the information is embedded in our brain.
On a side note, I would love to talk about something that happened to me today. I applied recently for the Doctoral Program of Education and Leadership at Western Carolina University. I found out today that I did NOT get accepted : (
I wonder too, if it’s an answer to a pressing question on the back of my mind- That I should have this summer off after I graduate with my Master’s Degree this May? Well, it looks like I have no other choice. I will take this summer to recharge and focus on myself.
Should I try and apply for a Doctoral Degree again? Well, I certainly feel I would like to try. I may choose the same program, or I would be very interested in physical therapy, but I’ve heard that’s very difficult to get accepted. I will just take a step back and trust I will know the next move.
Again, this Summer I am meant to do something other than beginning my Doctoral Degree. It’s kind of a bummer when I told people I applied. I told the people who gave me recommendations thank you, and they said they will help me in the future at least. I will move forward and finish strong with this master’s degree at WCU in Entrepreneurship. Have a good day everyone.
